A universal basic income (UBI) is an unconditional cash payment given at regular intervals by the government to all residents, regardless of their earnings or employment status.
Andrew Yang used it as his primary policy during the presidential campaign. So, what do we as Black people think of this?
Host, Michelle Swiney and Gregory Coleman, along with the Panel, take a deep dive into why or why not embrace this initiative.
We would like to welcome to the Panel, Judy Andrews, published author and poet.

Why Can’t People Just Do the Right Thing? Rebroadcast!
Sunday Jun 06, 2021
Sunday Jun 06, 2021
I was always taught that if you do the right thing, you will see positive outcomes. But can you tell me the same thing about the vote and the good men and women of Tulsa. Also, what about the shoot-out in Florida between the police and a 12-year-old and a 14-year-old. Were they white or black? I am aching to find out!
What about the continued lies about the Presidential election results by Trump and his cronies? Then on top of this, we have QAnon baring down in their insane beliefs about a cabal with 1/3 of Republicans buying in to it. My, my, my, what to do?

George Floyd, Tulsa, What’s Next?
Sunday May 30, 2021
Sunday May 30, 2021
We are finally doing a deep dive into what happened at the Massacre of Greenwood, Oklahoma. The Icon of mainstream media, 60 Minutes , even had a segment on Greenwood. We also remember the Martyr, George Floyd. Many, many, more have died and will continue to die. What's next?
Can you handle the truth? Our Panel (The Big Four) discloses information even I was surprised to know. Did you know that Memorial Day was first started by Blacks? This among other omissions/distortions will be discussed during this amazing episode.

Want to Stem the Tide of Injustice? Vote Local! Recorded Live
Sunday May 23, 2021
Sunday May 23, 2021
We have seen so many deaths of Black men and the majority are unseen or covered up. From Andrew Brown to Ronald Greene, we must use every tool we have to fight against these barbaric acts. We must vote from the bottom up. This will not be the end all be all but will represent a concrete step. In addition, we must hold those in office ,now, accountable to the communities they represent.
To reiterate, galvanizing for the national vote is great. We now need to include town, county, and state elections. As with the Breonna Taylor and Ronald Green, and recently, the death of Andrew Brown, the prosecutor failed us by refusing to bring charges. They must be defeated along with others who can be identified. This applies not only to these elected offices but any elected office.

So, what is an activist. There is a saying that one man’s freedom fighter, is another man’s terrorist. Our guest today is the real deal.
Terence “TC” Muhammad has been a community activist and organizer for over two decades. His experience spans voter mobilization campaigns, issue advocacy, and coalition building in African American communities, faith communities, on college campuses, and among civil rights and progressive organizations.
He works at the intersection of economic justice, criminal justice reform, climate and environmental justice, youth empowerment, and community health. His primary role as Community Outreach Manager for Hip Hop Caucus is to coordinate grassroots mobilizations with advocacy agendas at local, state, and federal levels. This involves working with local and national issue-based coalitions, Hip Hop Caucus’ grassroots leaders, and elected officials to ensure communities’ voices have a say in the policymaking process.

America: A Reckoning with Race- Rebroadcast
Sunday Apr 18, 2021
Sunday Apr 18, 2021
On this weeks show we would be remiss if we did not discuss the ongoing police violence against our Black and Brown people. Why is it you don’t hear of incidents like this when white people interact with law enforcement?
The recent shooting of Dante Wright and the brutal pepper spraying of an army officer, in uniform, represents that sending officers back for training is not the answer. The cop that shot Dante had been on the force for more than 20 years. In addition, she was an instructor. With the host of shootings and brutality, it is clear the problem is escalating instead of declining.
