BD3 & UnkleNephew
On September 25th 2020, BD3 & Unkle Nephew drop a double-single with “Why Do U Luv Me” & “For the Ancestors” a powerful juxtaposition of 90’s love and present-day reflections on race-relations in AmeriKKKa. In talking about “For the Ancestors” BD3 states, “America has always been personified as a woman, so in this record i wanted to give her all of the qualities I thought she deserved. Powerful, attractive, but also deadly, vile and treacherous.” Whereas “Why Do U Luv Me” is amped with a nostalgic love for what Unkle Nephew & BD3 call 90’s New York. ”It’s an “ode the 90’s, my favorite era of Black culture,” as stated by Unkle Nephew. They Don't Give a Damn ! Police Brutality on Blacks Excused By Trump: Re-broadcast
Wednesday Sep 02, 2020
Wednesday Sep 02, 2020
The Walt Weekly again takes on Police brutality against Black men and women. It is evident that they don’t give a damn with Trump encouraging them and backing them up. A policeman shooting an unarmed black man 7 times is like a golfer choking on a 3-foot putt. He even went as far as to try and justify the 17-year old that killed two people. Since when is killing someone justified unless it is in self-defense or war. We take a deep dive into this real threat to our country.
Understand that White Supremacist cannot give you freedom nor do they have that right. Freedom is not gained without sacrifice. Look at those that died during the Civil Rights Movement. Freedom is earned, nurtured and protected from future threats.
