An interview With One of New York’s Finest, Police Officer , Harper Milo
Monday Jun 15, 2020
Monday Jun 15, 2020
Harper Milo is a 14-year member of the NYPD. We wanted to know, that as a policeman, what was his view on the George Floyd killing, and the ongoing protest. We also wanted his insight on why police brutality continues and what does he think some of the underlying reasons this problem continues. How does this matter get remediated? Is it due to the officers not living in the areas they are policing? We discuss this and take a look at some of the good things that the Police Department is doing.
We also wanted to know his thoughts regarding comments made by Donald Trump to dominate that streets.
About Officer Harper
Officer Harper is assigned to Brooklyn North Outreach Unit. The Brooklyn resident said making a difference in the lives of people is a daily effort.
“If my message can get through to just one person every day, I'm satisfied," he said.
With help from The New York City Police Foundation, the 14 year veteran creates new innovative ways to engage the youth and community as a whole by creating job opportunities and a safe space to voice frustration with police/community.”

Rebroadcast!: Did Trump Just Threaten Us? I Thought Only Masters Did That
Monday Jun 08, 2020
Monday Jun 08, 2020
Michelle, Walter, and the Panel take on the Trump threat of dominating the streets. He has crossed the line so many times. Our Constitution is being trampled upon. I can't understand wby patriots of our country are not speaking up in larger numbers. General Mattis along with a few other highly ranked military leaders have spoken up.
Hello all and thanks for joining us on another Friday Afternoon episode of The Walt Weekly Podcast Live. I am Walter Latham along with Michelle Swiney-McCombs and we are your host.
Trump said that he would be using military force to overwhelm protesters across the country utilizing the Insurrection Act. He wants to dominate the streets! Even though he has back stepped, the damage of this attempted intimidation has already been done.
Now it has been said that Trump is not a racist. But, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, so, it must be a duck.
What he said was unconstitutional. Why? The First Amendment to the United States Constitution is a part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press, and right to petition.

The recent murder of George Floyd by a White police officer in Minneapolis is not surprising. Isn’t this normal? The only difference is the time and place.
What about Eric Garner? killed for selling loose cigarettes
What about the two white guys that shot and killed ,Armaud Arbury, a black jogger in Georgia
Or is this the way to take a “Knee"? I am hurt beyond words. I have seen my share of horrible things. But this killing takes the cake. Unbelievable! Dam!

We would first like to extend our sincere condolences to those families that have lost loved ones to Covid-19.
We would also like to this opportunity to wish those who are putting up the good fight a speedy recovery. Our prayers are with you.
The Topic for today’s show is the misperception or omission of who the essential workers are that are underpinning the fight this against this pandemic. We saw the airshow flying over NY to honor our first responders. We should not forget that the front lines are made up of the grocery store clerks, MTA, Sanitation, LIRR, etc. that are not mentioned. They lay their lives on the line each and every day.
